Netgalley gave me this book in exchange for an honest review. Thank you!

Even though Tia is the daughter of the man who is responsible for the No Child In Need Bill, she wants nothing to do with it and she is determined to do whatever it takes to stop it so no one will be forced not to have kids if they want to have them. She is trying to accomplish this by organizing riots as someone named EVE. However, when riot gets crazy her life changes when she is shot and forced to work with Colbain who is a known criminal who Tia wants nothing to do with.

This book did have an interesting concept. It is possible that one day people might be forced to get sterilized. I also thought that the reaction that the people had to this was realistic. Many people would be against a bill like that and would be protesting it greatly.

However, this book was not handled well. Tia is a very stupid main character who doesn’t seem to know anything. It’s weird that she is so important because she constantly needs to get rescued. She is far from a strong female character.

The main antagonist is also kind of cliche and a flat character. He seems to be all evil and he doesn’t even care about his own family. I would have liked it more if he did care about his daughter, but he just uses her like he uses everyone else.

Tia and Colbain’s romance was also rushed, but at the end of the novel I was okay with it for the most part. I just wished that it would have been developed more.

Overall I would give this book three out of five. It was hard to decide however whether to give it this or two.
